The Role
Lyle and Scott have a solid authority and presence with sales that have grown from £10m in 2000 to £30m in 2013. We are looking for a person with pace, passion and personality to create an inspiring, fun environment for the business to continue its profitable growth, whilst remaining true to its heritage. You will lead and motivate the wider company to deliver the overall vision of becoming 'a profitable niche aspirational business with global reach'.

THE ROLE

Leading the board of directors, you will create the optimal structure that you feel will achieve this vision as part of a culture change. You will be responsible for defining and executing a business plan to deliver this vision and grow the value of the business.
You must have the following skills and experience to be considered:
  • Evidence that you have led the growth of a premium brand; understanding the context and developing a team to deliver that growth.
  • Evidence of strong leadership skills, you must be someone who has inspired those around you, ideally having led a successful culture change as CEO/MD.
  • Experience of working outside of the corporate blue chip market, ideally having spent quality time in an SME (Sub £50m T/O business).
  • Experience of growing international sales.
  • Experience of building and managing a fully functioning board across multiple sites.
  • History of consistently achieving and delivering against plans in more than one company.
  • Credibility to build internal teams and external customers.
